Kingfisher has extensive experience in the design, permitting and construction oversite of new ponds and pond systems. Kingfisher works with clients to design ponds that realize their goals while remaining withing the bounds of feasibility for the site and associated water resources. Kingfisher specializes in creating cost effective, passive water systems that last for years to come, an excellent asset to any property. Over the years, Kingfisher has designed ponds and systems of ponds/streams/wetlands with opportunities for both fishing and other recreational activities.

Restoration

Ponds are a common feature on many agricultural and recreational properties. However, many existing ponds are created without regard to the requirements of a dynamic, self-sustaining fishery. Inadequate water supplies, compromised water quality, aquatic weed/algae infestations and aesthetic issues can dramatically reduce the potential benefits of a pond. Kingfisher Consulting can provide solutions to these problems and transform a previously constructed pond into a productive and self-sustaining fishery.

Fire Protection for Rural Areas

In rural areas, Kingfisher can install dry fire hydrants for use by rural fire departments and/or ranch personnel. These hydrants draw water from a pond and are specifically designed for the equipment used by the local fire district/ranch. Not only do they provide a fire hydrant on site for protection of structures, but many clients also receive insurance incentives and can end up saving money in the long term.
